Here is Danika, first thing in the morning on her 5th birthday, Aug 30, 2008. She just had to open her presents right away. She gets that from her Dad. Thank you everyone who sent cards and gifts.
This is Harley right after he set up our gift to Danika. Why is he soaking wet you might say?
Because our gift was camping for her birthday and he set the tent up in the pouring rain.
I set this cup out to catch rain overnight, so you get the idea of how much rain we slept through. We got the far far outskirts of hurricane Gustav that night.
We camped at Mickey's Fort Wilderness camp ground. We got to swim and use the camp ground as guests and it was so much fun. Danika got a pony ride as another little gift. Harley was so excited because he got to walk the pony around a track. We thought she was just going to go in a circle like pony rides we had done in the past. Cinderella and Prince Charming wished Danika happy birthday and that was another highlight of her day. Mom and Dad didn't make her ride on the hunted mansion, she is really sensitive to the spooky sounds on that ride. She had a great day and so did the rest of the family. We love our little Danika and we are so glad she has been with us for 5 years of adventures.
