Here we are.

Time is just flying by these days. This first picture is a picture from August last year. We just love this beautiful tree. We call it "Grandfather Willow". It is not a willow and probably is not a Grandfather, but we call it that all the same.

Move forward to the year 2011 and here we are again. Danika turned eight and here we are all dress up getting ready to go to her baptism. She is such a sweet girl. We are so proud of her.

The day after Danika's baptism we took a trip to the beach. This is our purple family picture. A special thanks goes out to Grandma Wentzel for making this picture happen.

Wow! I just cannot believe how big everyone is.

Danika is 8 and got baptized on the 3rd of Sept. Aunt Molly and Grandma and Grandpa Wentzel were able to be here for this special occasion. Danika loves her gerbil and her hermit crab. She loves to draw, I am still having a hard time finding a place to keep all of her wonderful drawings.

Ruben is 6 and he is loving 1st grade. He comes right in from school and does his homework right away. After his homework he wants to play with Legos. He is just like his Daddy.

Edmond is 4 and is at home with me. He likes to ask people, "Do you know what school I got to?" And then he tells them, "Home school". It's more like he shouts it, but you get the point. We play games, paint, and do fun things and we call it school. I love having him home with me. I could not imagine missing the sweet things he says.

Corbin is 21 months old and he is just as awesome as the rest of the kids. He has just learned how to jump. He can get both of those feet off of the ground! It is so cute. Just today he decided to jump off of the coffee table onto the couch. He stood at the edge of the table for about a minute as he tried to get the courage to jump...then he did it. He looked like Sōsuke from Ponyo when he jumped and his feet flung up behind him almost touching his head. My boy is so sweet and into everything. I don't have much down time anymore.

In September Kacy and Harley enjoyed being the same age for a few days-30. I am at home with the kids trying to keep the place presentable and everyone fed and happy. I enjoy reading. I would love to have more time to paint but I rarely get a chance to do that. I could only image what Corbin would do if I got my paints out when he was awake.

Harley just started a new position. I know what you are thinking didn't he just get a new position? And you would be right. This one should be it for a while. Positions like this one don't come around everyday. He is now a Business Operations Manager for Ticketing. He is managing some people that he worked with when we did internships here in 2003. Crazy, huh?! In his spare time he likes play board games. With 4 little people, and everything else going on, the games are not getting to the table as much as we would like.
We are so grateful for the direction we have been given in everything we have done in our marriage and lives. We have truly been guided in all of our experiences.
