Blizzard

In Harley's Christmas package we got some tickets to go to Blizzard Beach. We got there at opening expecting to just stay a few hours and we ended up staying until closing, about 6 or 7 hours. We had so much fun. Ruben went down some of the adult water slides as well as all of the kiddie ones.

Liberty

In memory of our God, our religion, and family, and our peace, our wives, and our children.

For family night just before the election we talked about the Title of Liberty and the things that we stand and fight for. It felt like the right thing to talk about at this time when so many people are confused about what they stand for. We took one of Harley's old shirts and Danika and Ruben took turns wearing it, being Moroni. They stood on a chair and recited the title of liberty and then we all "rent" the shirt and wrote the title of liberty on it. It is hanging in our living room now. We had a lot of fun.

We went golfing with the kids and some friends at a winter themed golf course. It was slightly chili outside and we were in the Christmas mood. All of the holes were Christmas themed and when your ball dropped in some of the hole water would squirt at you or a Christmas song would play. It was really fun. Look closely at the teeny tiny golf club that they had for Edmond. Too cute.

Names

At dinner the other night Harley asked Danika if she likes her name. She said, "Actually, I like the name Aunt Rene' because that's my favorite name."
