Danika took this picture of Harley carrying me over the thresh hold the first night in our new home.

We did the most important thing we could think of on our first night in the house... we put up the Christmas tree. Don't ask me what all the kids are doing in this picture, staring into space and such. It was a long 3 hours at the title company and the kids did a great job.

One little story to share. We did the last walk through at 2:30 before we signed all the paper work at 3:30. Danika and Ruben were running around the new house like crazys and SMACK they ran into each other. Ruben now has two teeth marks in his forehead and Danika's two front teeth are loose. That made Danika really quite at the closing because she was sucking on ice cubes the whole time. Good times.

Long time

I know ... it has been a really long time since I have written. I wish I had more time to be online keeping in touch, but I don't. So I'll just jump into it.

Baby number 4 is growing fine and kicking mom every chance he gets. We are having a baby shower on Saturday for him. It seems Mom thought we would be waiting longer before we had another baby so she got rid of a lot of clothes. Why oh why? We are still thinking of names for this little one.

Edmond Earl is the sweetest thing. Long story short... we finally have his skin under control with a strict diet, not so cheap creams, and lotions. He is talking more and more every day. I took him to my Dr. apt for the baby and we listened to the baby's heart beat and Edmond said, "I like this song". Apparently he liked the swooshing of the beat on the little machine.

Ruben Batman Rubasaurus is a pretty neat guy. We had his face painted like a dinosaur a while back at Disney and ever since then he wants everyone to call him Rubasaurus. At church the other day the bishop asked if his name was Ruben. I was really glad the bishop remembered his name, but Ruben just said, "no". I had to explain that he likes to be called Rubasaurus.

Danika has a great 1st grade teacher. She is actually one of Danika's friends mother. We like her and she does a great job with the kids. Danika is getting very good a reading. She is very good at spelling. She loves to come home every week to show me her spelling tests. She still likes to swim every chance she gets and she loves to draw. I love all of the pictures she makes for me. I just don't know where to store them all.

Kacy is getting bigger and bigger. Two months to go. We are excited to meet this new little person who will soon be part of our family.

Harley is working hard and gets recognized often at work for the great job he does. We don't get to the parks as much as we would like because of the hot weather and the BIG momma.

Hope this was good for all of you for a while.

Christmas

We are here in California enjoying the company of all of our family members here. We have spent a lot of time with Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a few friends. We have been to the Jelly Belly factory, flying with Grandpa Wentzel, and gone to swim lessons. We have picked out fish from the pet store, caught tadpoles in the pond, played with Aunt Molly's newest guide dog puppy and played and played and NOT napped. It is so fun to be around so much family.
I know it is June right now and my post says Christmas and you are probably wondering why... Well our newest little addition is due the day after Christmas! This should be a great adventure for us all.

Number 4

I am just looking for a quick way to let everyone know, so I will not be on the phone for hours and hours calling my hundreds of relations whom I love.
We are expecting our 4th child and we are excited. I am totally sick with nasty morning sickness for my first time ever. Blah! Everything in the world is stinky. Pee-U. That just about sums it up. Danika is alread thinking of names and is insisting it will be a girl. We shall see. The boys don't know the difference.
Oh my Goodness, I can't believe I will have four little people in my care.

4 years old

Ruben is for years old now. He has been walking so tall today. He told me that he got bigger over night. Here he is opening his presents. There are little mermaid floaties and are actually for Danika. In the red present he got a Nerf gun from Mom and Dad. He has more fun being shoot by Dad then shooting it himself. In the blue present he got a Bass hat that is signed by the founder of Bass. Bass is a fishing magazine that a friend of ours works for.

Ever wonder what vacationing storm troopers look like? We saw these on Saturday.

Here is a picture from Rubens birthday marshmallow roast.

More pictures of us and our friends and some random people too.

Ch..ch..ch..chip and Dale...Rescue Rangers...

Another cool family night activity

On Saturday we had a stake activity where we collected food for a local food bank. As you can see our stake did a great job. Here we are dropping off our stare.

Another fun family night activity. Ruben made the eyes for the sad and unhealthy face and Danik made the eyes for the happy and healthy face.

We made cards with healthy food and not healthy food. We talked about the Word of Wisdom and then the kids got to feed the food to the appropriate bag. This was so much fun.

Easter at our friends house

All the kiddies.

The last Photo Udate of the Day

This little girls mother forgot to put her in something green for St. Patricks Day. When she got home from school she got right to work. She had collected clovers and grass on her way home from the bus stop and she taped them to a white shirt. Too cute. Very creative.

Third visitors of the year. Grandma and Grandpa Wentzel. We enjoyed having them a little before and a little after their cruize.

Three generations swimming together.

Danika posing just after dinner at the China pavilion at EPCOT.

Two cute kids posing beside some beautiful flowers at EPCOT's flower and garden festival. We got to see Davy Jones perform at the concert series.
I guess that is all for now. We still love being here. The weather is great and we have plenty of things to do. I hope you are happy with the pictures and stories that you get to see.

Photo Update

Harley went all out for Valentines Day.
We have these beautiful cinimon rolls complete with pink frosting.

Then we have a cute little pizza in a heart shape.

And last but not least Harley with a cake shaped heart.

Super star Edmundo del mundo.

Edmond has become the family pin trader. When we sees people with pin lanyards he shouts. "Pin pin" and then he walks up to them and points out the one that he wants to trade.

Photo Update

Dinner at the Japan pavilion at EPCOT.

This is a little picture I like to call Ruben with a reuben.

Molly, me, and the kids at EPCOT. It was a little chilly that day hence the kids wrapped in blankets.

Just another beautiful day here in Orlando Florida.

Does anyone remember this cartoon? The song went like this. First you pick it up put it in the bag. bump bump

Photo Update

Here is a cute little picture of Edmond and Kacy. Awww.
This is the amazing view from Harley's office. I took this picture right out of the window in his office. You can see everything. Spaceship Earth, Disney's Hollywood studios, the Castle, the Tree of Life, the Temple way off in the distance. Pretty neat.

Molly was our second visitor of the year. We got to have her around for two weeks while Mom and Dad were in India. We love love loved having her around to play with. I took 3 picture right here of Molly, I finally got one with her eye open and, what do ya know, Ruben's are closed! This is us eating at the Mayan Grill. Yumm yum.

After dinner we took a walk around the pool area and Ruben decided to jump into the kiddie pool while he was fully clothed. So Danika look at me and gave her the OK to do the same.

We enjoyed watching one of the animals at Disney's Animal Kingdom get a surgery done. Molly really loved this. This was my first time seeing anything like this.

Photo Update-Jan

Here we are swimming on Christmas Eve. This is becoming our Christmas tradition.

About one second after I said, "Edmond, don't eat that."

Danika my little artist.
Craig and Holly win for being our first visitors of the year. We picked them up shortly after midnight at the airport on our way home from our new years party.

Harley and Criag both got chosen to be in a show together. They were funny.

More pictures coming soon.

Still Here!

Hey everyone. We are still here at Walt Disney World. I just thought that I would post now that the dust has settled from all the lay offs to tell everyone that we are still here. Harley still has his job that he likes. We have seen a few people that we know go. A few people that Harley knows. We are sad for them, but glad we still have a job to support our little family. All is well here. Current pictures will be coming soon.

BIG

At work today Harley and his co-workers had a meeting with his bosses boss and they were told that Walt Disney World here in Florida and Disneyland in California will be merging. All these years they have been run separately. We are not sure what the implications will be for us as of right now. We will just have to wait and see what is going to happen. This is big and we think it really should have been done a long time ago. The parks have been doing the same kinds of projects and paying for them to be dome both in CA and FL. Anyway, I just thought I would give everybody a heads up. We are not really worried about Harley's job right now, but if something crazy happens now you know.

Whirlwind

I just thought that I would write a little something to let you know that we are still around here in Florida. Things have just been crazy with the holidays. Here is a little update. Harley still loves his job and is getting a lot of recognition for the many many things he is able to do to help Disney World out. We are confident that he will be successful here. Kacy is taking care of the kids and every once in a while of fridays she watches twins who are Edmonds age. Needless to say those days are crazier then the rest. Danika is now in CTR 6 and growing up like a beautiful young lady. She loves church and school and playing with her friends. Ruben is now a Sunbeam. He is a handsome little lad with the cutest head of curls you ever done seen. He says, "My hair is crowley." Uh.. he means curly. Too cute. He is doing well in Primary. A lot better then the other boy in his class. Harley and I taught his class today and boy are there some wiggle worms. Edmond is now our lone soul in Nursery. He runs right in and forgets about Mom and Dad for the full two hours. What a kids. All of our sweeties have done that and we wondered if Edmond would be the same and he is. Sorry we have no pictures. I figured a note is better then nothing.
